Prior to joining the firm she was a senior associate and trial attorney at several prominent New York City medical malpractice firms and has had successful outcomes defending physicians in complex obstetrical, orthopedic and surgical cases. She also has litigated in the area of nursing home/long term care facility defense.

While at law school, she received an American Jurisprudence Award for her appellate brief and received the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center School Service Award in recognition as a founder of the Entertainment Law Society. She co-authored, "The Med-Mal Crisis: Tip of the 'Litigation, Inc.' Iceberg", Investors Business Daily op-ed 8/11/04; re-printed on Medscape 10/12/04.
